IV involves a total of nine focus group discussions, each composed
of 6-8 study subjects. Conducted by specifically trained discussion
leaders, the focus groups are intended to elicit thoughts about drug
use in general and GHB in particular. Participants may be of either
sex and of any ethnicity, but must be between the ages of 18 to 30,
and live within 60 miles of San Francisco. We are seeking people who
have used GHB in the past as well as those who have never used GHB
themselves. Participants who cannot speak English will be excluded.
Those completing the focus groups will be paid $150. |
